How to reach Us
Our refuge is located in Balme, in the Province of Turin.
Park the car at Pian della Mussa, take the dirt road on the left and cross the Stura River on the new wooden bridge. Walk along the Alpe Venoni, and continue on the path (EPT222) gaining altitude.
At about 2300 meters you reach Pian dei Morti, a large grassy saddle where the gaze extends over the whole Pian della Mussa and the rest of the route.
Leave EPT223 path that leads to Pian Gias on the right. Continue on EPT222 reaching the base of a black rocky wall. The path avoids it on the right, passes some easy rocky steps equipped with rope handrails, and continues on some steep bends until the edge of a small valley.
Still few minutes without difficulty to reach a small plain where it is possible to see the refuge, settled in a exceptional panoramic location in front of the surrounding peaks.
